The song Why this kolaveri sung(?) by Dhanush in his latest Tamil movie '3' directed by his wife Aishwarya has so far secured above 2.5 crore hits in the youtube as of today.  It may be surprising to the advocates of melodious music and there has been several voices for and against this so far in the media. The National Anthem of India, Jana Gana Mana, composed and penned by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore completed 100 years on December 27. It was first sung at the Calcutta session of the Indian National Congress on December 27, 1911. It acquired national anthem status on January 24, 1950.

A set of two CDs were released by Nupur Audio, New Delhi titled A Tribute To Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in 2007. This pack consisted of a few collected Qawalis sung by the great Nuzrat Fateh Ali Khan and his disciple (son?) Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The first cd is named as The Master and the second one as The Desciple.
